JOS delivered the reinforced concrete works at Skegby Sewage Treatment Works (STW). This followed the success of a similar scheme at Kirkby-in-Ashfield which was delivered in a similar manner in collaboration with Draper Civil Engineering for Galliford Try and Severn Trent Water. Draper provided the groundworks, cranage and materials for JOS to execute the reinforced concrete works.

The development of the steel shuttering system in a pre-determined sequence designed with EFCO helped achieve the high-quality finish and maximise re-use of the system whilst bettering the programme.

This was carried out in an operational STW, working with the hazards of dirty water and the ongoing operational requirements of Severn Trent which were not impacted.
