Following a number of successful schemes with Draper Civil Engineering, JOS delivered the reinforced concrete works in partnership at Kirkby Sewage Treatment Works (STW). Draper provided the groundworks, crainage and materials for JOS to execute the reinforced concrete works. JOS assisted in the success of the scheme by carrying out additional works alongside the contracted work package.
The development of a steel shuttering system in a pre-determined sequence designed in collaboration with Efco helped to achieve the high quality finish and maximise re-use of the system whilst bettering the programme.
The construction was carried out in an operational STW, working with the hazards of dirty water and the ongoing operational requirements of Severn Trent which were not impacted.
The Kirkby STW scheme has been setting the standards for H&S, Quality and Programme, and this is all down to your hard work and attention to detail. Each and every visit from a Senior Leadership Person always results in praise for the quality of the site.
